I am a judgment broker that writes a lot. I assert: It is better to feel rich than to be rich. It is better to feel ok than to be ok. It is better to feel happy than to actually be happy. This article explains why I am confident in making these assertions.

Change is constant, and to a certain level, in some way or the other; everything is fragile and temporary. Nothing lasts forever or is guaranteed. An unlikely, however very clear example would be, what if you are actually ok in every way, yet a meteor then comes out of the sky and hits you? I claim that it's better to feel ok, than it is to "really" be ok.

Really being ok (as judged by your imagination, or by an outside society/media standard), depends on the whole shebang, beginning with health, freedom from pain, and getting sufficient money.

If everything is going well, you are really ok in real life, however someday, part of everyone's actual reality won't stay "ok" as defined by imagined or external standards.

Feeling good can be a choice which doesn't rely on your situation. When you're ok with everything, you tend to suffer less. In life, to feel pain is mandatory, suffering is optional.

Feeling ok will always make you happier, than wondering if you really are ok. Why worry about if you really are now, and are going to stay ok? Actually being ok is not as solid or reliable, as purposely feeling you are ok is. It's better to feel ok, than to be ok.

I assert that it is better to feel rich than it is to actually be rich. About 99 percent of the people in the world thinks and feels they do not have enough money. That means there may be a ninety-nine percent chance you won't actually be "ok" money-wise, in actual life.

However, what if you constantly felt like you had plenty of money? You could then use your time trying to make money, save money, and pay bills. You will feel much better feeling rich, than if you constantly worry about your debts and bills.

I think about paying bills only when I pay them. If I think about money, I focus solely on making and saving money. For me, it is a fun hobby. This kind of thinking lets me feel good about money, and stop worrying.

I assert that it is better to feel happy than to actually be happy. Many people seem to mirror their environment. If they are sick, poor, lonely, or old, they stay sad. If and when something great happens, they get temporarily happy.

There are 2 ways to be happier. One way relies on everything or something going or staying right.

Another way to be happier is to detach a bit, and feel happy no matter what is going on. Feeling happy if the world is not, is a learned skill. For me, meditation can help, one must follow their own path. Ideally, you can learn to enjoy your work or your situation, or how to enjoy them more.

Asking "Am I happy?", or predicting an event or time that will make you happy, is usually a complete waste of thought. It is best to invent happiness, imagine happiness, or create happiness out of the air, and then concentrate on what you do, not what the world does.

Worrying is useless. If you can effect an outcome for the positive, then act. If you cannot, then accept you cannot, and then hope for the best. An interesting video about happiness, is at http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_gilbert_asks_why_are_we_happy.html.
