Are you wanting to get a fuel-efficient car but are not quite confident about getting a hybrid? Do you think that there is a more fuel efficient vehicle you don't know about yet? With all of the numerous cars in the marketplace, there must be at least one that is more efficient with fuel than the hybrid. Even so, there doesn't appear to be one at the moment. Just about any car which may be more fuel-efficient than a hybrid cannot be unheard of for very long.
Just how could a non-hybrid automobile be more fuel efficient than a hybrid? There has to be some type of car that gets better gas mileage than a hybrid. Is it possible for a small gasoline-powered car to possess better fuel economy than a hybrid? Is it possible for electric cars to perform better than hybrid cars? The two of these types of cars shouldn't be compared since one does not use gasoline. If it's possible to have a car that is more advanced than a hybrid, how do you describe it? No fuel powered car at any size has the potential to beat the fuel economy of a hybrid. There isn't anything hiding in the back of a dealership somewhere waiting to be found. You cannot find any reason why some dealership may wish to keep such a car a secret.
The EPA has the latest information on which cars now available are the most fuel efficient. Everyone of the most notable cars for fuel economy is a hybrid with the most effective one being the Toyota Prius with a fuel-efficiency of 50 mpg. Your next two are hybrids manufactured by Honda, the Honda Insight with combined fuel-economy of 41 mpg, and the Honda Civic also at 41 mpg. If you are looking for a mainstream car with these numbers, you will not find one that's even close. Unless of course carmakers really are working on something different, a hybrid automobile is just what you need to look at.
If you are looking for the best of the best, the single one at the moment is the Toyota Prius. If you are going to take into account other things, like price, you might look at other hybrids. The Honda Hybrids are excellent options if you are looking for a hybrid on a budget. Everyone has their own reasons for choosing a car, and may prefer Honda over Toyota, but for now if you want the car that gets the best miles per gallon, the only choice is the Prius by Toyota. The only reason not to buy this car, is some other aspect, such as looks, which might be a big reason for many people.
Car suppliers are carrying on their endeavors to create more fuel efficient cars. You will end up finding more plug-in hybrid cars, battery-powered electric cars and many more cars with fuel-efficient engine systems. Until then, in case you are buying a new car, you simply won't regret buying a hybrid.
